ANGLE EAST, EDWARD H. ANGLE SOCIETY OF ORTHODONTISTS
The Langham Hotel, Boston, Massachusetts
Thursday, March 10th – Sunday, March 13th 2016

Bond-restaurant-LoundgePresident’s message,  Angle East 2016 scientific meeting.

Dear Fellow Anglers,
I want to welcome you to Boston — a city that many of you know very well. We have an exciting meeting planned at the Langham with a theme of “Leadership, Learning, and Legacy in the Cradle of Liberty”. I want to immediately take this opportunity to acknowledge all the presenters and discussers who represent the core of this meeting.
I must say that I never would have thought that I would be living in this fun and enticing city, or just as important, that I would be your Angle East President. So here it is, I am just thrilled to be in Boston and honored to serve as your President during this year.
As we look towards this meeting, I have many to thank who helped get us to this point. Anne Todd has been outstanding in her new role as Secretary/Treasurer. She has kept close tabs on everything helping to make my life easier. Daniel Tanguay, the Program Chair, has organized a wonderful program that will engage all of you and I am looking forward to your participation and stimulating discussions. Thanks to Chun-Hsi Chung and Kazuhito Arai, the Chairs of the Examining and Academic Committees, respectively. Both Chairs and their committee members worked very hard all year long to ensure that our Affiliate members and guests make progress towards their final goal of Angle membership. My thanks also to all of you who serve on the Executive Committee; every year you provide the leadership that keeps the society viable.
Finally, and as always, Beth Barrett has done a great job with the meeting program, kudos to Beth for her efficiency and expertise.
Everyone, here’s to a great, fun meeting!
Warm regards,
Carroll-Ann Trotman
