President’s Message…
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It has been my dream to bring our meeting to Paris and to have you enjoy the city, its culture, and its uniqueness. I hoped to create an atmosphere and schedule which allows us to value our scientific sessions while enabling us all to enjoy Paris.
Robert Garcia has helped make this all possible and we must thank him for all he has done for us.
Kolman Apt has planned an intense program for us and we must thank him for his efforts.
Kambiz Moin has been his usual dedicated self, has managed our complicated administrative issues and we must thank him!
Gail Korn has planned our tours which are well subscribed and promise excitement.
Do not be bored, as usual, by us Anglers all day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
Have a croissant and coffee at a pâtisserie on your own for breakfast before coming to the meeting. Then, for lunch, have a baguette on the run or a Parisian style lunch at a nearby sidewalk café.
Take the METRO everywhere. It is fast, it is cheap and it is Paris! Study, share knowledge and learn in the AM; then play in the PM!
You have Paris to discover, tours to explore, museums to visit, food to experience, wine to taste, and shopping to do.
Watch out for “credit card-itis”!
